PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new drink capable of contributing the recent diversification of preference. ;SOLUTION: This drink having a clear taste without bitterness such as a fragrant roasted tea is obtained by roasting coffee beans of robusta species (to form 30-40 L-value) so as to be lighter than the case for obtaining a regular coffee, grinding the roasted beans, and extraction-treating the ground beans at a temperature (≤60°C) lower than the temperature for extracting a regular coffee drink.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
