PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hand or a foot from being caught therein in dropping side faces of a bed by covering the whole side faces of the bed by screen members and dropping them on a side frame in being unused. ;SOLUTION: Supports 17, 17 are erected on both end sides of a lower lateral batten member 16 on a side frame 13, guide grooves 18 are provided in the supports 17, 17, an upper lateral batten member 19 is elevatingly attached thereto, and a winder shaft 20 winding and holding a first and a second screen members 11, 12 in the state energized to wind up them at all times is elevatingly arranged between the lower lateral batten member 16 and the upper lateral batten member 19. The first and second screen members 11, 12 are drawn out and developed from the winder shaft 20 against the energizing force by holding up the upper lateral batten member 19 so as to cover the side faces of the bed 10 and hold them by locking stopper pins of a lock mechanism 21 provided in the upper lateral member 19 in lock holes provided in the supports 17, 17 with the upper lateral batten member 19 raised at its highest position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
