PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hypertext analyzing device which recognizes a user's access trend from an access history and supports to decide the relative merits of a hypertext system configuration.;SOLUTION: An identifier acquiring part 21 stores the identifiers of accessing computers during a prescribed time in every node on a Web serer 1 and a set of access times from an access history 11. An access trend analyzing part 22 performs clustering of a node group on the Web server 1 with the computer identifiers as characteristic quantity. An access time analyzing part 23 fetches access times to a node respectively constituting a cluster from the part 21 and obtains the average of the access times about each cluster obtained by the part 22. Then, an access trend displaying part 24 shows each cluster together with the average of access times corresponding to the cluster.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
