PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-wavelength exciting light multiplexing device which is capable of outputting an exciting light of high power and lessening control of wavelength accuracy and temperature of component parts and a light source and an optical amplifier which incorporate the multiplexing device. ;SOLUTION: An optical multiplexer 24 is equipped with input terminals 24a, 24b, 24c,... and possessed of a function to multiplex light of wavelengths 1, 2,...n. A reflecting device 30 which reflects a multiplexed light at a low reflectance is inserted near the output side of the output terminal 24d of the optical multiplexer 24 to form a multi-wavelength exciting light source multiplexing devices, lasers 21a, 22a, 23a,... are each connected to the input terminals 24a, 24b, 24c,... of the optical multiplexer 24 to form a multi- wavelength exciting light source, and the multi-wavelength exciting light source is built in to form an optical amplifier.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
