PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toll notifying means and an on-vehicle device in an automatic toll receiving system which improves the operability of the on-vehicle device and also improves the security when an IC card is used.;SOLUTION: In this automatic toll receiving system, an on-vehicle device 16 is provided with a car navigation device 1 which has a route retrieving means detecting one or plural routes from the current location up to the destination and a storing means storing map data and toll data and is also a toll notifying means in the automatic toll receiving system which has notifying means (10 and 11) notifying a route retrieved by the route retrieving means and information about use toll in the use section of a toll road which is obtained based on the map data and the toll data before a tollgate of the toll road.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
