PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of suppressing toll within a prescribed amount during toll road traveling without depending on a driver's decision.;SOLUTION: This navigation device is constituted of a setting means (S13) that sets a payable amount of a toll for a toll road, a means (S23) which calculates the total charging amount when a vehicle gets out of the exist of the next toll section based on charging information (S15), a deciding means (S25) which decides the largeness and smallness between the calculated total charging amount and the payable amount set by the means (S13) and a means (S27) which instructs to get out of the toll road before the final exit of the traveling toll section and displays it when the means (S25) decides that the total charging amount is large, and a setting means (S31) that searches for a traveling route up to the destination point which does not include a toll road and sets the searched traveling route when the means (S25) decides that the total charging amount is large.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
