A toll notifying apparatus comprises an intermediate road side radio device (7) disposed in the vicinity of a toll road other than both an entrance through which a vehicle (3) enters the toll road, and an exit through which the vehicle exits the toll road. The intermediate road side radio station (7) calculates the toll of when the vehicle (3) exits the exit at the shortest distance from the intermediate road side radio device (7) by using entrance information specifying the entrance through which the vehicle (3) traveling in the vicinity has entered the toll road, and transmits the calculated toll to the vehicle (3).
