PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain plants that acquire the resistance to superoxide-occurring herbicides and to salt stress by transducing an apoptosis-inhibitor gene, can protect from functional disorders and is useful in the agricultural fields. ;SOLUTION: An apoptosis inhibitor gene that inhibitorily acts on the programmed apoptosis, for example, a ced-9 gene of a nematode belonging to a bcl-2 family or human bcl-xL gene or the like is transduced into a plant, for example, tobacco, egg plant, rice plant and the like.
