PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the opening and shutting operations of the air vent and the hive gate of an apiary. ;SOLUTION: This apiary has an air vent that is circular and netted and an hive gate that is opened narrow below the air vent. This apiary is equipped with a circular cover that is actuated through the actuation knob for shutting and opening the air vent and the hive gate reversely and with a stopper that stops the circular cover at a certain position. The circular cover is manually operated to alternately open the air vent and shut the hive gate, vice versa. The frame material for the apiary is a light-weight plywood or a synthetic resin plate and the size is miniaturized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
