PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster-preventive type hospital with a fine external appearance which can be built at low cost, intending to improve the safety at the time of escaping. ;SOLUTION: This disaster-preventive type hospital 1 has a horizontal escaping system in which a fire preventive door 5 is set up form fire preventive sections 2 and 3, and there is a difference in pressure between the fire side and non-fire side separated by the fire preventive door 5. A smoke preventive hanging wall in the fire preventive sections is divided into two parts, and hinged so that it closes by itself. The fire preventive door 5 is a single swing door to open in both directions. It is hinged so that it closes by itself, held by the divided smoke preventive hanging wall at the meeting part, and placed under the divided smoke preventive hanging wall. In other cases, a door interlocking with the smoke preventive hanging wall or a double swing type door is adopted for the fire preventive door 5. The fire preventive door interlocking with the smoke preventive hanging wall fixes the divided smoke preventive hanging wall closed when both divided smoke preventive hanging wall and the fire preventive door are closed. The double swing type fire preventive door consists of a double swing parent door which is hinged so that it closes by itself and a smaller double swing child door which is hinged to the parent door so that it closes by itself and opens in the direction opposite to the parent door.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
