BACKREST OF BED FOR OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backrest of a bed for obstetrics and gynecology which gives no anxiety to a patient, enables the patient to bear a baby at ease without requiring little labor to a helper, does not require various kinds of beds, and enables the patient to bear a baby in the conventional face-up position. ;SOLUTION: When a patient gets on hands and legs on a bed for obstetrics and gynecology with a backrest 4 which can be in the horizontal condition, a recessed part is formed at a position in a range the patient's hands can reach and a strain grip unit 4 with right and left protruding grips 4a is detachably attached. The direction of the detachably attached strain grip unit 4 can be changed by 180° to form a pillow on the bed. Further, a sheet to fill the recessed part to make the surface flat is detachably attached substituted for the strain grip unit 4 in the recessed part formed on the bed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
