PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce the amount of experiments by trial and error and provide an index for optimum control and design the shape of a container, the shape of a stirring member, a mix stir condition, etc., by not only graphically displaying a mixing state of particles with time, but concretely displaying the degree of mixing of particles by numeric values on the basis of an amount of static electricity generated subsequent to the mixing stirring with use of the stirring member in the container containing the powder. ;SOLUTION: A time-based position of particles stored in a container is obtained on the basis of a shape of the container, a mix stir condition and physical properties values of the particles and of a container wall face, and displayed after being stored in a calculated particle position memory device 29. The apparatus has a mixing degree calculating part 28 for obtaining a mixing degree of the particles in the container on the basis of a shape of a stirring member and physical properties values of a wall face of the stirring member, and a display device 33 for displaying the mixing degree calculated by the mixing degree-calculating part 28 and the time-based position of particles stored in the calculated particle position memory device 29.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
