PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a word such as a name and a place name that are not found in the existing dictionary by generating the enunciation of a described name by converting the handwriting of the described name into word phoneme data. ;SOLUTION: When customer information is inputted, a dictionary learning system 30 automatically converts the described name of a customer into enunciation corresponding to the corresponding name. A robot employee 50 first receives a call out which is entered through a hotel telephone switching system 18 and is from a hotel telephone 16. The vocalized name of a hotel customer is recognized by a voice recognizing device by utilizing an updated dictionary 32. The employee 50 collates the vocalized name from an allocated extension telephone number by utilizing the hotel customer name to retrieve the extension telephone number from a hotel customer database 20.
