PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide photoprocessable glass which may be formed with recessed parts without cracking and chipping by irradiation with high energy rays and to apply the glass to a gravure printing mold. ;SOLUTION: Particulates of metals of ≥1 kind selected from the group consisting of gold, silver and copper are deposited in the photoprocessable glass. The glass is irradiated with the high energy ray, by which the recessed parts are formed on the surface of the glass. A master disk made of glass for the gravure printing mold is prepared and the photoprocessable glass described above is used as the glass for constituting the master disk of this time. The master disk is irradiated with the high energy ray, by which the recessed parts are formed on the surface of the maser disk and the gravure printing mold is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
