WET TYPE MULTIPLE DISC CLUTCH WITH COOLING OIL CATCHING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a friction engagement part by feeding lubricant oil to the friction engagement part using the rotation of a clutch itself in the wet type multiple disc clutch with no lubricant oil feed pump for cooling the friction engagement part. ;SOLUTION: A pressure plate 10 is attached to a clutch hub 104 via a spring S arranged in a cylinder holder. Lubricant oil outside the pressure plate 10 stirred up by the rotation is caught by an oil catch wall and led from a window 14 to a clutch 100 inside. The lubricant oil led inside the clutch 100 is led between a sleeve 16 of the pressure plate 10 and a cylinder part 124 of the clutch hub 104 by the centrifugal force and/or a gravitation, passes through a diametrical through hole 134 of the cylinder part 124, reaches the friction engagement part 105, and contributes to the cooling of the friction engagement part 105.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
