GROUND WATER ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a groundwater environmental preservation method in a bypassing system of natural flow of a groundwater system, which can preserve the volume of groundwater system, can prevent degradation of water quality, and can positively improve the water quality. ;SOLUTION: Groundwater is collected into an upstream groundwater purifying well 14a through a crashed rock section 17a having activated carbon mixed thereto, and the groundwater in which noxious materials are adsorbed and eliminated by the activated carbon is introduced from a water flow pipe 16 through a linking pipe 26 passing underground below a construction zone 15 of an underground structure 25, into a downstream well 14b. Then, the groundwater is diffused from a crashed rock section 17b into a downstream ground 13d. The groundwater purifying means may be set in the downstream well 14b, the linking pipe 26, or the water flow pipe 16. Thus, free flow of the groundwater system can be preserved between the two sides of the underground structure, and at the same time purification of groundwater can be carried out easily and at low cost.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
