HIGHLY EFFICIENT AEROBIC FERMENTATION OF ORGANIC WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which organic waste can be fermented at a high rate and with high efficiency. SOLUTION: In this method, at the time of controlling the fermentation process in a complete mixing type fermenter capable of fermenting charged organic waste while completely mixing the organic waste, change in water content of each of different kinds of organic waste having different properties from each other, in the fermentation process is measured to predetermine a timewise water content change point at which the water content reaches a lower limit value. In the process of fermentation of organic waste 13 that is an object to be treated, the fermenter is replenished with hot water 16 at the timewise water content change point to maintain the water content of a material 15 being fermented in the fermenter, at an adequate level for the fermentation.
