PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a minus ion manufacture which generates minus ions efficiently in large quantity, and a minus ion generator, an air cleaner, and a humidifier each using it. ;SOLUTION: Water or aqueous solution is jetted or sprayed from two or more jet or spray holes or nozzles in opposition so as to make fine waterdrops. It becomes fine waterdrop mixed air by colliding the fellow waterdrops, thereby accelerating the fining more and passing the air into the space (a fine waterdrop generation part 3) at a wind velocity of 0.1-30 m/sec, and 0.5×109 pieces or more of minus ions are generated in this air of 1 m3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
