SOLUTION: This system has devices and equipments for office automation 100, an adapter device 200 and a host computer 260. The host computer 260 has a communication means for executing communication means between the adapter device 200 and the devices and equipments for office automation 100 through a communication circuit 250, a memory means for storing the information to be transmitted and received between the adapter device and the devices and equipments for office automation as well as the processed data and the user's information, etc., relating to the information and devices and equipments for office automation for managing the adapter device and the devices and equipments for office automation, a data processing means for executing the processing of the information described above, a communication means for executing the communication through an external system 280 exclusive of the adapter device and devices and equipments for office automation and a communication circuit 270, a display means and printing means capable of displaying the stored information and the data subjected to the data processing and others and further, an abnormality state detecting means of the devices and equipments for office automation and the adapter device.
