PURPOSE:To improve the acceleration performance from a state where the number of engine revolution is low, in the air-fuel ratio control for an internal combustion engine for vehicle where the air-fuel ratio of the mixed gas is feedback controlled according to the concentration of the exhaust component and the feedback control is suspended when the prescribed high loaded state of the engine continues for a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:Feedback control can be immediately suspended in the operation state having the number NE of engine revolution less than a set value NKWOT even in a high loaded state.
