PURPOSE: To interrupt floor impact sound by forming an unit type vibration isolator which is made up of a core metal, a washer, a plurality of disc springs, and a cylindrical vibration isolating rubber the lip of which is fitted in the upper section of the core metal. ;CONSTITUTION: The unit type vibration isolator 10 is formed in such a manner that a washer 3 is integrated with a core metal 2, a plurality of disc springs are guided by the core metal 2, and the lower lip of a vibration isolating rubber is fitted in the upper groove of the core metal 2. The vibration isolator 10 is then fitted in the counterbore of a joist 7, it is bonded onto the joist 7, or pressed in so as to be fixed thereto by making use of the elasticity of the vibration isolating rubber 1, and a floor board 9 is put on a sleeper 11 so as to be formed into a floating floor structure.
