MOLDING NUT, MANUFACTURE OF MOLDING NUT, AND LINEAR GUIDE DEVICE USING MOLDING NUT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding nut which can be fabricated through a manufacturing process easy and of simple configuration and can be pressed uniformly to the whole peripheral circumferential surface of a screw shaft. ;SOLUTION: This molding nut 2 to be fitted on a screw shaft 1 is formed through a die shaping process from a resilient material and is furnished with a slot 3 over the whole length in the axial direction so that the nut 2 is split in the circumferential direction. When fitted on the screw shaft 1, the nut 2 will have the same effective diameter substantially as the effective diameter of the screw shaft 1, and the nut 2 is equipped with an elasticity directed toward the center in the radial direction of the screw shaft 1. The slot 3 is either formed by making molded threads using a die and core followed by machining, or putting a core and a slotting core in a die followed by injection molding.
