"Telecommunications system and method for determining first and second base stations transceptoras ideal target to be used for triangulation to determine the location of a terminal mu00f3vEl "described a telecommunications system and method for determining base station transceptoras (BTSs) target ideals, to perform transfers of positioning and obtaining positioning data.When a request is received by a positioning controller of radio base (BSC), serving the mobile station (MS) to be positioned, the BSC and accesses a database within the BSC.That contains a list of cells belonging to BTSs target candidates.Based on this information and in the direction of the main antenna of the BTS serving, two candidates for position transfers are selected from the list.So that the angle between the principal direction of the two adjacent BTSs is almost equal to the angle between the principal direction of two adjacent BTSs additional.By selecting the BTSs target in this way, it can be ensured that the target BTSs circundem MS, thus decreasing the calculation error of location made by the positioning center (PC).
