"PROCESSES TO PRODUCE A DUSTY GAS CHAIN OF OXYGEN AND A HIGH PRESSURE GAS CHAIN CONTAINING OXYGEN AND STEAM AND A LOW ENERGY COST FOR THE PRODUCTION OF OXYGEN AND NITROGEN, AND A LOW COST OF REACTOR" A low energy cost process. -production of gaseous oxygen and nitrogen products employs a fuel supply tube (506) that extends into an oxygen selective ion transport membrane (424) through which fuel (440) is introduced adjacent to its end closed and co-current with the oxygen-containing gas in the annular body (510) and in an ion selective oxygen transport membrane having a separator section (436) and a reactor section (438). Oxygen-containing feed (406) is compressed and then contacted on the cathode side (426) of the separator section (436) where a portion of the oxygen is transported to the anode side (428) and recovered as a gaseous oxygen product. Substantially the rest of the oxygen is transported from the cathode side (426) to the anode side (428) and is exothermically reacted with a fuel. Hot, nitrogen-rich gaseous product is expanded inside a turbine to generate the energy needed to compress the feed. Expanded nitrogen-rich gas can then be recovered from the turbine exhaust.
