The membranes and compositions of the invention also stimulate T cells in vitro. The processes of the present invention are directed towards the treatment of cancer, comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a tumor cell membrane. The present invention is also directed to a process of producing a hapten modified tumor cell membranes and to dosage forms containing the membranes.
