The combination of Amlodipine with either Atorvastatin or Atorvastatin metabolite shows a synergistic Antioxidant effect on Lipid peroxidation of Human low density lipoproteins and VesicHanging Membrane enriched with polyunsaturated fatty acids.Inhibition of Oxy radical damage was observed For This combination of drugs at Therapeutic levels in a way that cannot be reproduced by the combination of Amlodipine with statins or otherNatural Antioxidant, Vitamin E.The basis for this potent activity is attributed to the Chemical structures of these compounds and their molecular Interactions with the Molecules of fosdolu00edpidos,As determined by x-ray diffraction analysis.This combination Therapy may be used to treat cardiovascular diseases, especially coronary artery disease;Increased Resistance of low density lipoproteins and vascular Cell membranbas against oxidative modification.
