Prepn. of fertilisers from bio-waste ash and bio-sludge

Prepn. of fertiliser chemicals from mixts. of ash obtd. by burning bio-waste and bio-sludge obtd. from domestic or industrial purificn. plants, comprises reacting the ammonia liberated by the mixt. with an acid, e.g. nitric acid to give ammonium nitrate, and mixing the nitrogen-contg. liq. phase from the bio-sludge with the bio-sludge/ash mixt.
