The method which is the last step of anaerobic solid fermentation process whose residue whether undried or dried is obtained and/or foreign additives e.g. straw, turf, ash, sawdust, or bark is introduced by a dosing mechanism. This is pref. onto a continuous conveyor and previous to mixing with animal excrement or liq. manure. The dosing of animal excrement or liq. manure takes place by a conveyor auger and a device comprising rotating drum with radial beating elements and a housing. The steps of the method are to reduce the residue and simultaneous mixing so that by chosing and suitable speed of rotating the drum. The mixt. is then ejected from the device in a continuous conveyor, pref. a trough auger.
