HAND HELD VIDEO GAME WITH SIMULATED AIR BATTLE

A novel hand held electronic LCD video gamesimulating an air battle at sea. Approach of enemyaircraft and aircraft carriers is simulated by sequentialdisplay of multiple images. The player manipulates missilesights between nine positions to aim and then fire missilesto destroy the approaching enemy aircraft and carriers. Inaddition, enemy missile attack is simulated by sequentialdisplay of missile images and the player must aim hissights and destroy the missiles before they destroy hisaircraft. Five stages of play are provided with increasingspeed of play for each subsequent stage. An energy gaugewhich decreases for each missed enemy aircraft or aircraftcarrier limits the number of misses permitted to theplayer.
