The present invention relates to a method for realising the vortex grinding of a material, wherein said method involves injecting a high-pressure flow of an energy-carrier gas in order to form a high-speed vortex, introducing the starting material by feeding it into the vortex flow and removing the ground material together with the gas. The energy-carrier gas and the starting material are supplied simultaneously in the form of a main profiled flow into a toroidal grinding chamber (7) following the axis thereof towards its centre. The extraction of the ground material and the gas is carried out using the inner toroidal surface of the grinding chamber (7). The high-speed vortex generated has the shape of a toroidal vortex ring. The gas-dynamics device for grinding bulk material includes a vortex grinder, means for supplying the starting material, supply ducts for the energy-carrier gas, transport ducts for the finished product as well as a plurality of elements for separating and removing the ground material from the gas. The vortex grinder includes a body (6) with a toroidal grinding chamber (7), a main profiled inlet nozzle (10), a toroidal collection duct (11) and a plurality of discharge ducts (12).
