METAL LINE STRUCTURE OF AN INTEGRATED CIRCUIT DESIGNED WITH AN OPTION LINE

PURPOSE: A metal line structure is provided to secure an electric characteristic margin of a metal line without an increase of an entire layout area by designing an option metal line beside a metal line. CONSTITUTION: Metal lines(201, 202) include at least one main line used for a power line ora signal line and at least one option line for an option. The option line is arranged outside the main line, and extended in a longitudinal direction of the main line and substantially arranged in parallel with the main line. The option metal line(203) is designed in space between the first metal line(201) and the second metal line(202). The second metal line(202) is designed to be parallel with the first metal line(201). The space is designed to be empty in case that an option process is not necessary.
