METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASURING AMOUNT OF APPLIED FERTILIZER DEPENDING ON FARMLAND AREA

PURPOSE: A method of measuring a fertilizer depending on a farmland area is provided to supply necessary or sufficient nourishment depending on nutritive conditions of farm products by measurement of farmland to fertilizer ratio. CONSTITUTION: A leaf of a farm product is inserted into a space between an optical source(42) and an optical intensity sensor(144). Then, a sensor switch(146) operates to display the detected chlorophyl density on an LCD(liquid crystal display) panel. The average of the detected data is obtained automatically by an operation program and the measured chlorophyl density is compared with correlation between reference chlorophyl density and the proper requiring amount of fertilizer. Finally, the amount of applied fertilizer is obtained depending on a farmland area.
