PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to achieve an improved structure of the apparatus with a reduced cost. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a horizontally elongated frame onto which an axis support board(12) is fixed so as to be installed to be movable onto a platform(13) adjacent to a converter(14) and which has a first end portion actuating centering from the axis support board, a wheel(16) installed at a second end of the elongated frame so as to horizontally move the first end of the frame onto the platform along an arc-shaped path, a reciprocating board(19) moving along the elongated frame and which has at an upper surface thereof a pivot(11), a support boom(23) having a first portion of which inner end portion is attached to be movable to the pivot of the reciprocating board and a second portion movable to inner and outer sides of the converter and which is movable in lengthwise direction of the first portion, a member(29) for operating the second portion of the support boom with respect to the first portion of the support boom, a member(25) for allowing the support boom to be inclined with respect to the pivot forming a support point of the support boom and the reciprocating board so as to move an end of the support boom along the vertical and horizontal arc-shaped path, and a slag dart moving unit(28) arranged at an end of the second portion of the support boom for supporting the slag dart to be attachable/detachable so as to allow the slag dart to be adjacent or separated to or from a tap hole of the converter.
