EQUIPMENT UPGRADING/DOWNSIZING METHOD BASED ON OPERATOR INSTRUCTION IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An equipment upgrading/downsizing method based on an operator instruction in a communication system is provided for increasing and decreasing a system operating facility by an operator irrespective of an internal data process of the system by providing an operator's instruction with respect to a facility increasing and decreasing apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An instruction execution control block(Execution Control Block)(10) is installed in an OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor) and receives an equipment upgrading or downsizing instruction inputted by the operator from an operator terminal and transfers to an automatic diagnosis control block(20). The automatic diagnosis control block(Diagnostics Control & Result Handling Block)(20) manages the functions of periodic output/change and a test prohibit/release function for various test execution and test control.
