The present invention relates to a glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) gene, a GAPDH promoter, and an expression vector containing the promoter of Hansenula polymorpha, wherein the GAPDH promoter according to the present invention has a strong configuration. It is very useful for expressing foreign proteins in Hanshenula polymorpha since it does not need to induce separate expression according to the carbon source as an expression promoter.
