A METHOD OF REMOTE CALL FUNCTION IMPLEMENTATION USING BASE STATION TEST UNIT AND TEST MOBILE

PURPOSE: A method for remotely controlling calls using a BTU(Base station transceiver Test Unit) and a TM(Test Mobile), is provided to connect signal delivered through a base station antenna with the TM of the BTU, and to strengthen signals of a specific sector to decide a synchronizing sector. And the method is provided to enable a BTS(Base station Transceiver Subsystem) to transmit a message of forcibly changing a frequency, or to forcibly change a telephone number of the TM, so that the TM remotely sets up calls by being synchronized with a specific frequency. CONSTITUTION: A BTS located in a remote place receives a remote call test request command from a tester. If the occupation of resources is necessary for the BTS, resources are allocated. The BTS delivers a command to set up calls through a specific sector for testing a service state to a BTU. The BTU connects signals of the designated specific sector to a TM using an RSWU(Radio Frequency Switch Unit). The TM is synchronized with the designated sector. The BTS instructs the TM to by synchronized with a specific frequency/access channel through the designated sector. The TM requests originating calls to the BTS through the instructed specific frequency/access channel of the designated sector. If the BTS receives an originating request by remote calls from the TM, resources are allocated appropriately for the request. The BTS sets up calls with an incoming party by being interlinked with a system, to test a service state of the frequency/access channel of the designated sector.
