Means for attaching the bearing housing 22 to the outer cell 12 are shown. The outer cell 12 is flexibly formed into a plurality of holes formed in the bearing housing 22. A variation 92 of the cell 12 is such that the material is placed through the wall of the cell without perforation to maintain the integrity of the shell into the hole 42 of the bearing housing member 22. The shape of the placed material of the cell 12 is generally formed such that the cylindrical rod bearing surface with sharp corners can withstand both substantial axial and circumferential forces.
