SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aminomethylindanes, - benzofurans and benzothiophenes of the general formula (I) where one of radicals X or Y means CH₂ and other is taken among CH₂, O or S; R¹ - lower alkyl, phenyl-lower alkyl, acyl, alkylsulfonyl or R¹¹R¹²NC(O)- where R¹¹R¹² - H, lower alkyl, C_3-8-cycloalkyl, phenyl possibly substituted with halogen atom; R² - H, lower alkyl; R³-R⁵ - H or halogen atoms; R⁶,R⁷ - H; R⁸,R⁹ - H, lower alkyl, C_3-8-cycloalkyl-(lower)-alkyl, phenyl-lower alkyl, indolyl-lower alkyl or the group of the formula (A) where R¹³ - H, lower alkyl, C_3-8-cycloalkyl, phenyl, fluorophenyl; r = 2-6; W is O; or R⁸,R⁹ are bound in common and form 3-7-membered ring containing one nitrogen atom and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts that effect on aminomethyl receptors 5-HT_1A and therefore they are useful for treatment of patients with usual psychic and neurological disorders.
