FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to standard devices and contraptions used in building bridges. Scaffold has vertical tubular posts which are combined together by means of connection units with lateral tubular horizontal links. Tubular posts are made sectional in height they can move into one another at point of joint through value of not less than two diameters of tubular posts. Connecting units are made in the form of flanges secured on tubular posts. Flanges are round in plan. Uniformly located over their perimeter are trapezoidal holes. Seated in one of holes is wedge which fixes supporting table also having hole for wedge. Supporting table is rigidly connected with end of lateral horizontal link. Supporting table is located on flange. Total thickness of flange and supporting table at point of their connection by flange is not less than 2/3 of diameter of pipe of horizontal link. In addition, horizontal links can be provided with centralizers. Each of them is made in the form of C-shape clamp fastened by post to pipe of horizontal link. Its flanges are provided in ends with L-shape bent-up parts directed away from longitudinal axis of pipe of horizontal link. Their end parts are located primarily in parallel to flanges of C-shape clamp, and their end-faces are made over arc of circle which is concentric with respect to vertical tubular posts. Distance between aforesaid end-faces is not less than one and half diameters of pipe of horizontal link. Aforesaid embodiment of scaffold allows for reduction of metal- and labour-inputs in manufacture and in performing erection and dismantling operations.
