SUBSTANCE: method involves suggesting the first rival standing by first supporting base to act upon rotary lever mounted on first supporting base, and suggesting the second rival standing by second supporting base to act upon related rotary lever, with first and second supporting bases standing at random distance one from the other; measuring counteracting forces developed by first and second rivals in rotary levers by means of actuating electromechanical units; measuring displacement of shafts of each electromechanical unit; transmitting information via computer-aided line communicating both supporting bases; converting signals into digital codes and generating analog control signals on the basis of digital codes; determining accomplishment of arm wrestling fight on the basis of results of comparison of angular deviations of rotary levers and/or displacements of electromechanical unit shafts for predetermined time interval. Apparatus has first and second supporting bases, units for development of counteracting force, two personal computers positioned near related supporting bases and connected for providing adequate information interchange. Units for development of counteracting forces in rotary levers have actuating electromechanical devices whose shafts are connected through reducer with force measuring units mounted on rotary levers and connected with their outputs to first input of respective personal computer. Such method and apparatus allow arm wrestling of rivals standing in remote places to be accomplished by means of computerized equipment.
