SUBSTANCE: method involves investigating pedolithogenetic characteristics of ecologic ameliorative complexes of soils, of rocks of aeration zone and of ground water; determining, on the base of data of many years, groundwater depth (H,m) and amplitude of groundwater depth fluctuations (A,m); evaluating stability of ecological ameliorative complexes as to groundwater depth (H,m) and amplitude of groundwater depth fluctuations (A,m), and regarding them as stabile, when H 5.0 m, A 1.0 m; as relatively stable, when H=3.0-5.0 m, A=0.5-2.8 m; as relatively unstable, when H=2.0-2.5 m, A=0.5-2.0 m; as unstable, when H 1.5, A=0.5-1.5 m. Method further involves determining landscape genetic characteristics of ecological ameliorative complexes of soils, rocks of aeration zone and of ground water; determining for each of them groundwater depth (H,m) and amplitude of groundwater depth fluctuations (A,m), with landscape genetic characteristics being taken into consideration. EFFECT: increased precision in evaluating stability of ameliorative complexes and provision for obtaining reliable forecasting data on changes resulting from ameliorative effects. 1 tbl
