The wiring loom used, for example, in the door of a road vehicle has a coupling between a fixture (3) that is part of the door cladding (2) and a control module (15). The module has a ribbon cable connection through the loud speaker opening (16). The cable loom (10) has a free length between door fixture and the control module. The loom is provided with a plug connection (4) which is attached to the front end (31) of the guide holder, where the front end has an outer shape which mates with an opening in a structural element of the vehicle.
