The device has a measuring field (10) with equally spaced windows (14) and webs (16) and a scanning field (12), with evenly changing windows (20) and webs (22). In the scanning field the angles ( alpha ) of edge (26,28) inclination differ progressively with increase in numbers of edges, in the angular interval under consideration.
