Cable laying method esp. for optical cables along roads and motorways

Method of laying a cable, in particular and optical-fibre cable, comprises arranging the cable (4) to be laid in the region of guard rails along roads and streets. The guard rails (2) are the central guard rails of multi-lane roadways. The cable is fixed on the inner face of the respective guard rail, with special clamps specifically provided thereon for being used for this purpose.
