The attachment device (1) can be moved between parked and operating positions and has at least one safety device (11,19) that enables the attachment arrangement to adopt its operating position for only some of the possible settings of the vehicle seat. A first device detects the vehicle seat position and locks the attachment device in its parked position or releases it accordingly. An Independent claim is also included for a vehicle seat with an attachment arrangement.
