A sub-surface concrete pipe is driven through ground from a trench towards another trench. The pipe (4) formed of sections has an external guide ring and in-liners(1), and a pressure transmission ring between adjacent pipe ends. Test and/or pressure pipes (4) funnel into or from the zone between the pipe ends. The pipe (4) is extended through an opening in the pressure transmission ring from one pipe end to the other. The pressure thrust ring (10) is pref. made of wood.
