The sliding inner roof lining is in two sections(4,5) which can be variably positioned and brought to overlap each another. One section does not allow light to penetrate and the other allows partial penetration of light. Both sections of the lining are rigid in themselves, and the section allowing partial penetration of light also allows partial penetration of air. Both sections are adapted to the size of the roof cut-out(1) exposed by the sliding roof top(2).
