The mixture formation process is for a mixture-sealed external-ignition fuel injection engine. The mixture is formed by a combination of induction pipe injection and direct injection, injecting partial injection amounts controlled or regulated in dependence on the load. A higher proportion of fuel is supplied for idling and partial load.
