Multi-cylinder internal combustion engine has secondary air passage formed by tubular detachable insert with secondary air outlet hole per cylinder and aligning with connecting passages leading to exhaust ports
The multi-cylinder internal combustion engine has a secondary air passage(10) formed at least partially by tubular detachable insert(12) with a number of secondary air outlet holes(13), one per cylinder, which align with connecting passages(11) leading from the secondary air passage to the exhaust ports(9) in the cylinder head(1). The air outlet holes are smaller than the connecting passages. The secondary air outlet holes are designed as metering holes defined for individual cylinders.
