The secondary air feed for internal combustion engines has a twin flow exhaust pipe connected to the cylinder head(1) by two separate flange arrangements(10,11). In the side wall face of the cylinder head forming the flange and sealing face is a distribution passage for secondary air in the form a slot-form recess and divided into two longitudinal sections(14,15) independent of each other and located symmetrically on both sides of a central secondary air duct(17). The two longitudinal sections of the distribution passage are connected to the exhaust ports(2) via respective air injection holes(16).
